Usher On Bieber

Usher has quite a bit on his plate -- in addition to promoting his own new album "Raymond v. Raymond", he is also overseeing the career of 16-year old sensation Justin Bieber. So what kind of advice is Justin's mentor sharing? In a new interview with "Entertainment Tonight", Usher explains:

"The one thing that I continue to encourage him on is don't believe it too much, because as there is success there are low [points]. Enjoy it -- but understand that life is a journey, and the story that is told is the one that you live through."

Justin is beginning his "My World" tour Wednesday with a performance in Hartford, and he will continue hitting up a variety of venues over the course of the next few months before taking off to other parts of the world.

Usher Teaches Bieber To Kiss?

The very modest not really baby Bieber thinks he's better than the average bear.  Justin tells the world he can swap spit with the best of them.

"I’m a good – I’m a great kisser. I’ve made out with a couple of chicks.”  And by "chicks", I hope he doesn't mean his aunts or mother.  And by "making out" I hope he doesn't mean a kiss on the cheek.  You never know with Bieber.  Hell he didn't even know what the word "German" meant!

Usher on the other hand wants credit for anything Justin does.

In a recent interview Usher said "Justin is 16 so he can’t really hang out yet. But as a youth, I was running the streets with Puffy and that’s basically how I made my start so I keep promising I’ll get him in a club one time, maybe it’ll be a party or something. But he knows exactly what to do with the screaming girls. I taught him well.”

That sounds kinda creepy.  By "taught him well" I hope he doesn't mean he actually showed him how.  

Usher Wishes He Was Michael Jackson - Jambone

Usher needs to get off the high horse he just rode in on.

He recently said "I've been doing this 18 years now and my icon is well on its way. Michael was doing it for 50 years and that's something I'd like to grow towards. At the same time, I am one of a kind, a worldwide pop icon."

So he's the next Michael Jackson? I guess everyone with kids just checked Usher off their babysitting list. Eee hee hee.
